We have read that truth, righteousness, peace, and faith are crucial qualities of the Christian life. But these are not the only things that God tells us that we need. In Ephesians 6:17 we read “Take the helmet of salvation…”. Gather your Bible and open to Ephesians 6 as we continue our study together.
The Armor of God. It is designed to protect us in the spiritual battle that we face each and every day in our Christian lives against our determined, personal, real enemy whose name is Satan. Today, we continue the teaching series “Heroic Living” where we are studying Ephesians chapter 6 with a focus on verse 16 where we are introduced to the Shield of Faith.
One of Satan’s key tactics is to disturb your peace and to get you anxious about your relationship with God. How are we to deal with this? What should be our response? What is “peace”? Let us continue the teaching series “Heroic Living” where we focus on the biblical text in Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10 through 18.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has commanded us to observe two ordinances. The first is baptism and the second is the Lord’s supper. What does baptism signify? What is the Lord’s supper? And why are both of these very public and very personal celebrations so important in living a life in Christ Jesus? Listen to today’s teaching on baptism and the Lord’s supper for answers to these important questions.
It is righteousness that protects our thoughts, our mind, our feelings, and our emotions.

Think about these questions as we continue the teaching series “Heroic Living” where we look at Ephesians chapter 6.
We are continuing the Heroic Living series by looking at three essentials if we are going to be able to stand up to the challenges and the struggles that come our way because we are engaged in a spiritual conflict.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we struggle with many unpleasant things in life. And we struggle against a very real opponent whose main tactic is to challenge us of what we believe to be “true”. Today, we are going to continue reading on what God’s Word has to say about all of this in Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10 through 18.
There is a personal opponent that wants to mess you up in life and he does not want you to enjoy following Christ and tries to make you ineffective as God’s child and witness in the world. This opponent’s name is Satan, “the father of lies”. Listen to today’s teaching where we learn about strength and the power of God.
As believers in Jesus Christ we want to know what “Kingdom Living” is all about. What should we be like as followers of the King, Jesus Christ, and participants of the Kingdom of God? What does it mean to live in righteousness? Keep these questions in mind as we continue the second sermon in the “Kingdom Living” series.
